A Much More Productive Evening.

I cleaned the house a little. The kitchen and bathroom still need a lot of work, but at least the living room is more or less presentable.

I feel better about myself having done something productive with my time.

There isn't much else to report. Made my daily 3 000 yesterday. Hope to do the same today. It's funny, I'm already at the 20% done mark. Usually, having written the same amount, I'm barely even passed ten. I quite like this lower target word count...

Tonight, I shall be seeing Captain America with friends. I'm not a Captain America fan, but it looks like they've done a pretty good job of adapting it. I'm curious to see how well it translates.

I should get on with it, I suppose. Have a great Tuesday all!

Good for you, S.M.! I know how good it feels good to get the house under control. And I am always impressed with your word count; I am experiencing a crisis of confidence with my own writing right now, and I am trying to sort it all out. Have fun at the movies tonight; I will look forward to your review!

There is something to be said for a clean house, I guess. Last night I (finally) came to the end of my client's editing job. I feel so free! I actually did a little cleaning this morning, and will be able to spend more time on my own writing. Yay!

Thanks, Pam! Sometimes it helps to walk away from writing for a while. I did that with The Great Man series at several stages. At first I felt guilty, but always when I returned to write, I was filled with fresh energy and inspiration. I no longer feel guilt taking time away from a project (hence my distraction with this just-for-fun thing I'm writing). And I'm having so much fun writing this one!

There really is, Debbie. I slept better than I had in a long time knowing that the living room, at least, was tidy. Congrats on finishing the project! That's worthy of a celebration, I think. Wine, anyone?
